FAQ

We ship very quickly, about 2-3 days after order is placed. Exceptions to this could be during high demand times (Christmas or other holidays). We do our best to ship everything as quickly as possible. We do not ship internationally at this time, only domestic within the USA.

Shipping is a flat rate of $5.00 for first class mail which is generally 3-5 business days.

We stand by the quality of our jewelry, but if there is a problem with your jewelry we will accept exchanges and refunds within 30 days of having received product. If there is an issue with broken or loose pieces, you can do the following:

Option 1: You can take a clear photo of the jewelry with the issue, and email info@libertycottagedesign.com. We can exchange or issue refund.

Option 2: You can mail back the jewelry. Once received, we can exchange or refund. Please note only the cost of necklace will be refunded (not shipping charges to send necklace back). Email info@libertycottagedesign.com to start process.

Our jewelry pieces are entirely handmade. Many of our patriotic designs are very unique and you will not find elsewhere. I wanted to create jewelry pieces that are unique and offer a more boutique experience versus something you can find on a thousand other commerce sites.

I realize there are so many options to shop, and truly appreciate all who choose to purchase from Liberty Cottage Design. We love God, Patriotism and America and welcome everyone with open arms.

For pewter necklace pendants, the maintenance is very easy. Pewter is not prone to tarnishing which makes it wonderful for everyday use. We still advise to not wear in water, and to take off necklace before bed. To keep the pendant shiny, take a simple cotton pad and go over the pendant (around and not over the blackened enamel). If the black enamel should ever fade, email info@libertycottagedesign and I will walk you through how to freshen it up.

For sterling silver, we advise to not wear in water and also take off before going to bed. Sterling silver can tarnish over time due to air and humidity exposure. To preserve your jewelry, keep your sterling in a jewelry box or bag. If you begin to see tarnish on your jewelry, there are many anti tarnish cloths on the market to help polish up your jewelry. We have now included a tiny polish cloth in your purchase.

Argentium silver can also be easy maintenance. The benefits of argentium vs sterling silver is that it has a brighter silver shine and is more resistant to tarnishing. Should argentium silver begin to tarnish over time, an anti tarnish cloth can be used to return silver to it's brilliant shine. We have now included a tiny polish cloth in your purchase.

Gold filled jewelry is one of the easiest to maintain. We still advise to not wear in water and also take off before going to bed. Gold filled is not prone to tarnishing, making this metal extremely durable and can last for decades with proper care. We have included a polish cloth in your purchase to wipe off any oils and keep your pendants shiny.

Our newsletter subscription is the main way we can communicate with our customers. Social media can be very complex due to algorithms, censorship and we are essentially being controlled by another platform. Our newsletter will bring value to you by offering member only news and the opportunity to be in our a monthly giveaway.
