I have to admit, I didn't always embrace the cowgirl aesthetic. I’m a native San Diegan, but I grew up in a small town about an hour away up in the mountains. This small town doesn't look or feel like San Diego. It has miles of country, farms, and horses. In fact, my family owned a ranch with acres of fruit trees, vegetables, cows, pigs and chickens. I spent most of my childhood weekends at the ranch. Once I became a teen and then into young adulthood, I just identified as a city girl (but I really wasn’t). It wasn’t until I got older that I realized how much I loved this farm type of living. Some of my best memories are from our ranch helping my dad feed the livestock.
Cowgirl Inspiration
Looking back, I didn’t appreciate how wonderful country living was. Now when I see many moving towards slow living, homesteading, raising chickens for eggs, I find it so wonderful and encouraging. It’s hard work, no doubt about that, but there is something so fulfilling about it and I can see why so many are drawn to it. All this brings me to the country inspired jewelry pieces I created in my shop. I do love the country girl aesthetic and these pieces were made for those who love it as well.
These adorable cowboy hat and boots earrings just brighten up any outfit. Whether you're heading to a country music concert or simply want to add a touch of Western flair to your outfit, these earrings are a must-have.
This necklace is the ultimate gift for the country girl. It proudly shows where your heart it is, and who you are. I use both silver and gold filled metals to make this a very durable necklace. Each letter is hand stamped, and happily made just for you.
For those who love a bit of edge in their jewelry, our Silver Dangle Bullet Earrings are the perfect choice. These earrings feature a bullet charm that dangles gracefully. These are very light on the ears, with sterling silver ear wire. They are still subtle without being over the top.
These silver disc pistol earrings are cute and spunky. Whether you are a country girl, or support the 2nd amendment, these earrings make a statement.
Many blessings to you if you grew up, or currently live in farming, homestead or country living lifestyle. It can be equally challenging and rewarding. I hope there are some jewelry pieces here you will love to add to your collection. So many of these pieces are great accessories to wear every day, but they also add a nice touch if you are heading to a country music concert, rodeo, or an event that brings out a little bit of country flair.
